Joe DeVito, Director/Producer

A commitment to the field of entertainment that spans 4 decades, Joe began in New York, promoting teen clubs and producing rock and roll shows in the early 60’s.  Joe then traveled to Hollywood experiencing the film industry from the inside on the lot of 20th Century Fox Studios, Universal and others.

A love affair with Sonoma County brought Joe northward in the 80’s pioneering the prerecorded home video market.  In 1995 Joe found himself back in school at the age of 52, attending Santa Rosa Junior College.

Joe discovered Petaluma’s Public Access Television opportunity, volunteering and supporting the planning, building and operation of the new studio located on Casa Grande’s campus.  Then with the encouragement of friends, colleagues and now co-founder Ellen and Hal Moorehead, created the Council For Community Television.
